Marry me or walk…

Nate Hansen desperately needs a reboot to his playboy image that doesn’t involve women, drinking and fighting. Rehabilitation and building a solid future proves elusive as he can’t land a permanent job until someone mentions local widow Joy Mitchell who’s advertising a full-time ranch job. Perfect.

Joy Mitchell is desperate for a ranch hand to help keep her dead husband’s legacy alive out of the greedy grasp of her manipulative father-in-law. Nate’s reputation precedes him, none of it good, but the ranch is running on empty, and Joy make the hard choice. Problem is the job she’s offering isn’t exactly what Nate had planned.

Nate knows what its like to lose everything, but seriously, become a mail-order groom? But Joy won’t or can’t compromise.

cover158994-mediumThe second book of The Hansen Brothers series and I must say it’s even better than the first. I really enjoyed Cowboy to the Rescue but this book was in my opinion so much better.

It might be the premise of the book that made it stood out I guess. You don’t often read about marriage through the add that comes with a job offer.

Nate with his wild past and not quite popular in the town is doing everything to build his future. He’s tried changing his lifestyle, working hard, avoiding short term relationships with women but prejudice of town folks is pretty set against him.

When he struggles to find a permanent job and stumbles across opportunity at Joy’s ranch, he doesn’t hesitate for even a minute. Little does he know that this job comes with a bit more than he imagined. It comes with marriage, family, son…

Joy is finding it extremely difficult to keep her ranch business afloat. With never-ending attacks from her father in law, threats, she feels it won’t take long and she will lose her husbands legacy. Joy needs help, she needs man by her side to help her protect it.

Unlike couple signs a contract, gets married and do their best to protect what is theirs. Is it going to be enough? If the man with power decides to take it away from them, what more can they do to keep their grasp on the ranch?

When you feel down, when you are stressed or just fancy quick and easy read, this book is your perfect pick. Whether you read the book one or not, you can just read it as standalone and will get into the story pretty easy. Now I can’t wait for the book three as there is yet another cowboy brother we need to see to fall in love. And it’s going to be a good one!
